Sketch Club

The Sketching club was started in the year 1957 according to desire of Dady Ranu Mookerjee at her own residence for the benefit of working artists, where live models are provided, palpably fulfilling a need to work after office hours Bonafide artists, men and women including visiting artists from other parts of India and abroad were invited to work in the Sketch club.

It is Pertinent to mention that the artists like Jogen Choudhury , Paresh Maity , Wasim Kapoor , B.R. Paneswar were benefited having practiced at the sketch club at its initial stage.
